Shiraz is know as the city of art, poets, gardens, wines, nightingales and flowers. This exhibition celebrates the diverse works of nine artists living in this wondrous city. All 23 of the works included in this exhibition uncover the extraordinary creative impulses of those artists and synthesises contemporary art in Shiraz. While the works of those talented artists reflect the most recent achievements in Contemporary Art, they also follow the historical developments of Iranian art with intelligence and passion by adopting its most decorative and compositional element throughout their work. The artists include Hasan Golbon, Mahsa Roosta, Ismael Cheshrokh, Najmeh Pourshojai, Mohammad Akbari, Farzad Hassanzadeh, Saeed Gholami, Alireza Bahrani, Behrooz Moslemi.
A preview of some of the works of this exhibition will be on display at the Syra Arts gallery on October 28th from 6 to 9 pm.

SYRA Arts has been promoting contemporary Middle Eastern and Iranian art and artists in the United States since 2011. It gives a glimpse of the depth and diversity of contemporary art in the region through showcasing work by artists of different generations in a range of artistic mediums.
