“In the Presence of Memory” showcases the works of 7 Syrian artists spanning many different styles: Akil Ahmed, Alaa Abou Shaheen, Ibrahim Alhassoun, Noor Bahjat, Semaan Khawam, Waaed Qwayder and Safaa Alset. The exhibition takes you on a journey with these artists as they reminisce on their voyage from the time they were uprooted from their homes to where they relocated to start new lives as they look forward to the future.”

Journey of a Paper Master: From Pulp to Perfection

This exhibition of the artist Mohammed Abou El Naga unfolds the artist’s exploration of memory, nature, and time through the art of handmade paper and printmaking. From the texture of olive wood to the layered fibers of pulp, Abou El Naga transforms natural materials into visual stories, each piece a witness to history, myth, and the quiet persistence of craft.
